Which hair straightener is the best to make my very curly hair straight?

I've been straightening my curly hair for years but have never really found a great straightener. Right now I'm using Remington's Wet 2 Straight which doesn't work well on wet hair like it claims and doesn't work much better on dry hair. I'm willing to pay more than $20 for a decent straightener...just looking for suggestions. Thank you!

Try the Yuko Hair Straightening System. It's expensive ($600 and up) but it's worth every single penny. It takes about 6 or more hours and the price depends on how thick %26amp; long your hair is but Yuko straightens and smoothes curly, dry, unruly hair PERMANANTLY, until the roots grow out. Your hair will be sleek, shiny and straight and in even BETTER shape than it was before the Yuko process. Yuko was invented in Japan, by a petite woman named Yuko. The Yuko process can also be reversed to obtain natural curls again if you don't like it - but my guess it, if your hair is like mmine, once you do the Yuko, you'll never go back. I agree. I'm using Remington's Wet 2 straight as well! Haha. No, it does not work on me but my friend came over and showered here and she straightened her wet hair perfectly.. My hair is thick and brown and she has thin dirty blond hair.. It depends on the type. But I can tell you the Chi straightener will work for any type so far that I've seen. And it's thin and has heat on the outside so you can wrap hair around it and when you unwrap it there is a little curl thing... It looks really cute. Also Vidal Sasoon has good straighteners. Just go to Target or Ulta or something and look at all of the selections, You'll find something

Use a Chi straightener. I love those straighteners.

You don't have to damage your hair using chemical straighteners. Use Kerastase products. I swear by them. They are great. I have unruly curly hair and use Kerastase Shampoo and Conditioner. If you can not afford both, then invest in the conditioner, depending on your hair type. You can use any type of shampoo. Use Sedu hair straightener and Kerastase Oleo hair serum. Works like a miracle and you never have to get a relaxer or chemical straightener again.

I use this straightiner called a CHI. It works really well on my naturally frizzy/wavy hair. Although with a high price of $100 or more, I'm sure it will work on extremely curly hair too!

GHD's!! I would not live without them. They even keep your hair straight over night. BUT there is a down side if you use your ghds everyday they will only last about 2-3 years.

Whateva straighteners you get DONT FORGET TO PROTECT IT !

I have a lot of very curly hair. The individual strands are rather fine, but I have enough hair for at least two grown women. I use the Paul Mitchell flat iron and it is wonderful. I highly reccomend it to anyone with lots of curl and/or lots of hair. It is expensive, about $130, but I think it's worth every penny.

As a stylist I'm gonna tell you that if you pay under $100 for a straightener you are not getting even a decent flat iron.

The best flat irons you can buy are Chi and Hai. Both of these are great, cost about $120 but well worth the money. They are both ionic and ceramic, can reach temparatures of 400 degrees and leave the hair silky smooth.

Before you iron your hair make sure you use a thermal protectant on your hair. This will reduce the damage caused. I recommend L'oreal Professional Serum.

Good luck
