My hair is very curly and a bit frizzy is there any way to make it straight permanently?

Are there any down sides to this, apart from not having curly hair lol

You can get some very good hair relaxer/chemical straightener from Boots which will last a few months, but you can have it professionally done at specialist Salons permanently, but it will cost several hundred pounds for the proper Japanese treatment system.

Although I like my hair curly, my hairdresser told me that a 'reverse perm' works!

you can ask your parents to take you to a salon to have it permanatly straightened or just buy a straightener and straighten it every once in a while but it'll be curly when you wash your hair again. and dont worry, heres no downside to this =]

ask a proffesional hairstylist, at a salon.

Why get rid of curly hair? It's soo pretty! If the frizz bothers you, just use styling moose! But honestly, you need to love your locks as they are!

you can get your hair permanently straightened which last for a little while but makes your hair even frizzier and puffyer! It makes your hair damaged and weird so i wouldn't do it!

Although it won't work permanently, a relaxer (a chemical treatment) is the best way to make curly hair straight.

I believe you have to get it done once every few months.

Relaxed hair can tend to look overdone and fried, however, so be careful as to how often you treat your hair with one.

Why don't you just invest in a good straightener (the SuperStar is amazing), some Frizz Control and Extra Extra Straight by Tigi's Bedhead and work out your kinks every morning? I know lots of people who do that and it looks just as good as, if not better than, a relaxer.

Yes you can actually perm it straight when the roots come in you would have to have it done again but yes can be done. The good thing is you this can be done at home by a responsible adult so its not expensive. Always do a skin test first.

You should get it chemicially straightend. I Think they can last for about six weeks. My friend had it done and it look amazing. Most hairdressers should do it. The only downside is that it is chemicals so its obvously bad for your hair.

Keep it curly and tame the frizz! Curls will look so much better then having it permanently straight. I stopped straightening my hair as much and now people comment on how it suits me better. I don't know if it would be the same for you but why not give it a try =]

You can get a staight perm but it MESSES up your hair, and I wouldn't recommend it. It's probably best you use a hair straightener. It requires more effort but it's worth it if you don't wanna put harmful chemicals in your hair.

I also think there's something you can do with your hair to make the curls nice. Try different hair creams, perhaps a hair mousse or hair oil. Personally I'd love to have curly hair, so be proud of what you have. All you need to do is use something to keep the frizz away.

Good luck.
